Justdial has appointed Dinkar Ayilavarapu as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), bringing on board a seasoned business leader with more than two decades of experience in strategy, digital transformation and business growth.
The appointment comes as the company looks to strengthen its leadership team and accelerate innovation while expanding its digital services business.
Before joining Justdial, Ayilavarapu served as Vice President and Head of Flipkart Wholesale. He also held the position of Vice President and Head of Strategy and Transformation at Flipkart, where he led the transformation of the wholesale business into a digital-first and customer-focused platform.
During his tenure, he worked on driving profitable growth, improving operational efficiency and leading large-scale organisational transformation initiatives.
Prior to Flipkart, Ayilavarapu spent several years at Bain & Company, where he rose to the position of Partner. He advised global clients on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation and change management across multiple sectors.
He also serves on the Board of Directors at Kheyti and has previously held consulting and brand management roles at Accenture and ITC Belgium, adding to his broad experience across technology, consulting and consumer businesses.
With his extensive background in strategic leadership and digital business transformation, Ayilavarapu is expected to lead Justdial through its next phase of growth and innovation.
His appointment reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its leadership capabilities, enhancing customer-centric digital offerings and driving long-term business expansion in India’s evolving digital marketplace.
